For some reason, the drawing for this painting felt like a road map of my life with all roads leading to me. You know how it goes: life throws everyone some heavy curves from time to time, and a lot of my time has been spent dealing with the fallout, then building something beautiful from it. I didn't want to get stuck in the fallout feelings because the past is, well, past, so I decided to base my decisions on the color that kept coming to mind as Now. I chose pink. And everything flowed from that.
