John Salminen's workshop figured heavily again, along with my husband's trusted feedback. Once in a while, I don't have any conscious understanding of why I'm painting something or, in this case, painting something this particular way. I didn't know until about 10 seconds after I made that final "Oh, yeah" brushstroke that made it all click. Only then did the title pop into my head, and it told me everything about the painting’s purpose.
Bold and rich, still centered despite adversity and chaos, it makes it through each day quite nicely, thank you.
