This one goes in the Learned A Lot column. Every now and then, I get the urge to experiment -- heavily -- with opaques. There are a few transparents peeking through, but not very darned many. I wanted something soft and gray, also a departure for me. What happened was an unexpected, even profound experience. It echoes my own quiet back at me with just a hint of the color that makes my heart sing.
